What About Bob?
I’ve been in love with the Internet since I began dabbling in web design back in 1996. A friend of mine and I started designing websites shortly after that. After several years of client work he got burned out and jumped to another career. After a couple of years of going it alone I also wanted some focus.
I got a job as the “web guy” for our local utility company. That lasted several years and was fun, with great coworkers, but I wanted to move to something more exciting and inspiring.
That was working for an excellent public relations company as their Digital Media Manager. We help clients of all sizes roll out social media efforts and do some web work too.
I’ve seen a ton of stuff change online in those 15 years. From coding in Notepad to WordPress themes. It’s been a crazy ride, but it’s always interesting with something new to learn.
